Description
A Kitten Place is a volunteer organization, rescuing the most vulnerable group in county shelters, the neonatal kittens. These kittens are euthanized on a DAILY basis at local shelters, even if they are completely healthy and viable, simply due to the lack of resources the shelters have to care for these kittens who need around-the-clock bottle feeding. A Kitten Place volunteers take them into their homes, and the rescue provides veterinary—and often critical—care, food, shelter and socialization until the kittens reach an adoptable age. Once the kittens are vetted and sterilized, the organization finds suitable homes for them.
